Within a year, we were growing 150 lbs a week out of a 300 sq ft. space. As hobby became business, we started to scale.

From garage to supplying restaurants across San Diego, things were booming (get the shroom joke? ), but something wasn't right for me. My original interest and drive was the process of learning. I wanted that to be shared with others.

Customers were eager to tour the facility because they wanted to learn how to grow mushrooms. I knew it was time to pivot.

I decided to focus on teaching others how to grow mushrooms at home, and it filled my cup immediately. It was the same feeling I got when I grew my first flush of mushrooms. I say all this because our grow kits are a reflection of this. Put something in a fancy box, and someone will grow for their first time. I hope you enjoy growing as much as I do! -Max G
